Your Questions About Sell Your Photos Ebay

Lisa asks…

Sell your photos on Ebay?

I have a friend that tells me that it’s possible, but stupidly I forgot to ask him how. Has anyone done this who can please tell me how to sell your photographs on Ebay? I know this is probably obvious to someone who knows Ebay, but I’ve never used it and so confused.
I would be so grateful. Thank you
Thank you!! I’ll look at it of course

Yes, you can – on ebay click on “sell > sell an item” and then choose “browse category” and choose “photography”

but being sincere I’ve tried to sell photos on ebay and it’s not a very good option

it’s far better to sell pictures online through microstock agencies; they sell your .jpg files and take a percentage but they have huge amounts of visitors and sales are very good

I’ve tried most of those listed here:

http://postpop.drivehq.com/stockphoto/stockphoto.html

my best earners are shutterstock (first place) and fotolia (second place)

dreamstime and 123rf are only selling some pictures now and then for me; the other ones even less;

it may seem that microstock sites like these sell pics at very low prices, but what counts is quantity, you will sell the same pictures many times as royalty free, and – unless you choose esclusivity – you can even sell the same pics at more sites

in total I earn about 400$/month with a few hundred pictures online but the more you upload the more you sell

i would suggest to register to both fotolia and shutterstock; on shutterstock you must pass an initial test after registration, but it’s really worth the effort since it sells quite more than all the other sites including fotolia

the other sites, maybe it’s not worth your time;

don’t be discouraged by initial rejections, you will quickly learn which pictures they want

subscription to all is free

they will pay you with paypal

Chris asks…

If you take some photos off of your Ebay selling page after you listed it the day before will you be refunded?

Will you be refunded the $0.10 cost in listing fees for each photo you deleted after you already listed the product the day before?

admin answers:

I think you just need to call them and explain your reason. Otherwise maybe raise your shipping or cost buy .10 cents to make up for it.
Good luck with that

Robert asks…

can you sell your own artwork or photos on ebay?

brand new to ebay and tried looking under community and help but run into dead ends- don’t have the knowledge and patience to web surf thru confussing sites-thanks

admin answers:

Yes, so long as you own the copyrights and it’s not anything illegal or banned by eBay, you can sell whatever you like.

Thomas asks…

how do you transfer photos of your item to sell on ebay, from computer to ebay?

admin answers:

There should be a section where you can upload your pictures from your computer.

John asks…

How do you upload photos to sell items on ebay?

On aol to have your photos show up, you have webspace that you upload photos to. Then when adding description for photos, the format is:

http://members.aol.com/pestrek/photoname.jpg.

When I sold on Yahoo, I knew to browse for photo. If I have Yahoo as my ISP, how can I apply it to get my photos to show up on ebay? Thanks for your help!!!

admin answers:

You have to have the picture on your computer hard drive. When you are listing an item, you’ll see where to upload the photo- just browse for it on your hard drive. It’s fairly user friendly.

Good luck.
